Green Haven’s Office Internship Program |
| Duties &
Responsibilities |
| Interns are afforded the
opportunity to explore all facets of Green Haven. In addition to
working with Staff members who are experienced with the
organization, interns will be helping victims of Domestic Abuse in
all areas. Including assisting them to get a Restraining Orders,
helping them find housing, and other various tasks that someone
going through a crisis may need. |

| This internship is a
great way to explore all areas of Domestic Abuse and what help is
out there for those individuals in Crisis. What you take from
Green Haven depends on the effort that you put into your
internship. |

| Evaluations are ongoing
through the internship and are completed on forms provided by your
university or college. |
| |
| Requirements for
Internship |
| You should be in your
Junior or Senior year of College. |
| |
| Human Services,
Administrative Services, and Law/Paralegal are all appropriate
majors. |
| |
| A background check may
be required for this program. |
| |
| You must have a sponsor
from your University or College and two written
professional/educational recommendations. |
| |
| Interns must be
available for the number of hours required by their university
during a single semester. Office hours are 9:00-5:00,
occasionally there will be calls made on the weekends that will
need assistance. To make the most of the experience it is
recommended that you live in or near Green County. |

| Internship
Availability |
| Internships are
available during the fall, spring and summer semesters. However,
the number of internships will be limited. Applications to this
program should be made well in advance of the anticipated start of
you internship. |
